Flensted Musical Angels
Christian Flensted designed these trumpet-playing angels in 1962, and they remain the company's traditional Christmas mobile. The figures are white, simple and graphic, closer to paper cut-outs than to ornament. They suit a pared-back December: a window, a pale wall, not much else. Once the season ends they pack flat, ready to come out again the following year. Handmade in Denmark.
