Gense Dorotea Vase (Dia. 9, Height 10 cm), Sea Green
Sea Green is the quietest colour in the ceramic Dorotea palette, a soft green that Monica Förster borrowed from the polar light of northern Sweden. It covers the smallest vase in the range, 10 centimetres high and 9 in diameter, a size that works on a bedside table, a shelf or grouped with its larger siblings. The rounded form follows the ice-shaped landscape around the village of Dorotea, and the glaze has a silky feel. Förster grew up in that village, and the collection is named for it. Dorotea received a German Design Award in 2024 for Excellent Product Design. Material:...
