"Nakiri" is a term that refers to Japanese "vegetable knives." If you're unfamiliar with Japanese-style knives, you may find the nakiri's unique shape intriguing. However, this shape is also an advantage in practicality. The Shun Seki Magoroku Shironezu Nakiri Knife boasts a safely blunt tip while retaining the necessary slicing and dicing power for vegetable prep. Unlike a chef's knife, the straight blade, edge, and spine of a nakiri require a push cut, keeping the edge parallel to the cutting surface.

The Seki Magoroku Shironezu knives have a slim blade that is compact and easy to work with. The convexed rib line helps reduce friction so the blade glides through food easily. The line is only on one side, not for left-handed users.

The handle is compact and easy to hold. Dishwasher safe.

  • Blade: Stainless Steel 1.8mm thickness
  • Handle: Polypropylene, thermoplastic elastomer (Heat resistant temperature 110°C)
  • Blade length: 15cm
  • Made in Japan
